Trip to Michigan (1 of 6)

Kate, Will and I went to exotic Paw Paw, Michigan for a summer vacation/Pilkington family reunion at the Lake Brownwood compound, a.k.a. Grandma Jenny and Grandpa Dave's house.

Here are just a few photos from the trip (and if you need more, visit www.thetinneys.com).

Here's pretty much everyone. Kate's uncle Kirk took the picture.

Kate's roommate from college and one of the coolest people ever, Risa, is seen here hanging out with a bad crowd. The cousins, (from left) Will, Jack and Jacob.

Vacationing is hard work. Will and I needed a nap.

You know what else is exhausting? Hosting 30 people at your house. Grandma Jenny could be found in this position frequently throughout the trip.

Time for a boat ride!
One of my favorite pictures from the trip. Someone bought little patriotic window decals that spelled out "I Heart America." However, the E tore. So then we had an F. One thing led to another, and we ended up with I Heart Farts. Mallory, Kate's cousin and just about the most awesome 12-year-old in history, enhances the sentiment with her enthusiasm.
Silliness.

This picture shows how pretty it is at Grandma Jenny's house. And it also shows that some seriously questionable characters (Kate's uncles Kevin [left] and Richard) were around.
You know what's hard? Getting three little cousins to look at the camera at the same time. This was the best option out of about 30 shots I took.
Will says, "Where the party at?"

Brian, Jon and I took a trip to Indiana to get some (okay, A LOT) of fireworks. Callie took the pictures you see here.

Cute little buddies Madison and Will.

Kate with Grandpa Dave and her brother Jon at the campfire.Buddies for life. Jack told Will on one of the boat rides, "You're my best friend."

These dudes were singing songs while I pulled them down the road. It was fantastic.
